Larry Keith Simmons, 53, of Thorsby died Friday, March 5, 2010, at Chandler Healthcare in Alabaster.
He was born Wednesday, Nov. 21, 1956, in Jefferson County, son of Mary L. Simmons.
He was a fiberoptic cable superintendent.
Surviving are his son, John Moore Simmons of Oshkosh, Wisc.; mother, Mary Lynelle Jones of Thorsby; step-father, Charles P. Jones of Thorsby; four brothers, Johnny (Toni) Diemer of Clanton, David N. Caudle of Clanton, Mark (Sharon) Caudle of Clanton and Carl Caudle of Jemison; six nieces; six nephews; four aunts; two uncles; and a host of cousins.
Services were held Monday, March 8 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home with the Rev. Matt Hilyer and the Rev. Randy Gothard officiating.
Interment followed in Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison.
