Panthers go 2-1 in Classic

VERBENA – Montgomery Catholic outclassed Jemison on Dec. 21 and became the only team to finish the Verbena Christmas Classic tournament unbeaten, at 3-0, with an 86-48 win.
The Knights (9-2) raced out to a 14-4 lead using a full-court pressure defense, and the Panthers (5-4) could never recover.
Jemison finished the tournament with a 2-1 record.
Scottie Hall led Jemison with 18 points in the loss to Catholic.
