Thomas Jerry Collins, 61, of Thorsby died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at UAB, Birmingham.
He was born Friday, Feb. 13, 1948 in Chilton County, son of the late Orville Collins and the late Martha Cox Collins.
He was a millwright.
Surviving are his wife, Ann Collins of Thorsby; two daughters, Chanda (John) of Tennessee and Christa of Tennessee; sister, Jennifer (Nick) Nivens of Clanton; two brothers, Dale (Debra) Collins of Clanton and Brent (Nancy) Collins of Clanton; five grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends were received from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 29 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services were held Friday, Oct. 30 at 11 a.m. at Victory Chapel Church with the Rev. Donnie Messer officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
