Randy and Darlene Allen of Clanton proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Angel Allen, to Justin Woodruff, son of Ollie Woodruff Jr. of Montevallo and Gail Woodruff of Wilton.
The bride elect is the granddaughter of Mary Edwards and the late Archie Edwards of Clanton and Marvin Allen and the late Melba Allen of Clanton. She graduated from Isabella High School as salutatorian in 2004 and is a 2009 cum laude graduate of the University of Montevallo. She received her Bachelor of Science in biology.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Sarah Nelson of Montevallo and the late Raymond Nelson, and the late Ollie Woodruff Sr. and Minnie (Bea) Woodruff. He graduated from Montevallo High School in 2003 and received his associate’s degree in automotive service from Virginia Tech in 2005 and is certified by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians as an EMT. He is currently employed at Jim Walter Resources and is a medic in the United States Air Force Reserves.
The wedding is Nov. 28.
